Our journey began in a quest to produce a range of wines crafted to be more than merely table dressing.
Award-winning winemaker Stuart Pierce has been with Fishbone since 200. During this time he has finessed the wines and stamped his own winemaking style on the range. Stuart is very hands-on throughout the winemaking process, ensuring every Fishbone wine is varietally expressive wines and reflects the terroir of the region. Stuart draws his knowledge from vintages in France and South Australia’s Clare Valley. He has received an array of accolades for his wines including the prestigious Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy in 2010 for our Joseph River Cabernet Sauvignon.
